Run It Back

Peter had fished all night and caught nothing. Exhausted and ready to quit, he was washing his nets when Jesus stepped into his empty boat and changed everything. Jesus did not wait for Peter to have a successful night before showing up. He chose the boat connected to failure and made it a platform for something greater. When Jesus told Peter to go back out and try again, Peter had every reason to say no. Instead, he said that at His word, he would let down the net. That act of obedience led to the greatest catch of Peter's life and ultimately to his life's calling. Whatever area of your life feels empty right now, Jesus is not intimidated by it. He is asking for access, not perfection.
