Our Story

Bibleway Healing Temple, Inc. was founded in 1966, beginning as a small storefront church with just eleven members. The ministry was established by Bishop Eulah M. Nelson, who, after experiencing healing from a heart attack, received a divine vision from the Lord to create a church focused on bringing healing and deliverance to God's people. Over the years, countless miraculous healings have taken place within this ministry, and its foundation remains steadfast in the powerful belief: "Have Faith in God."

After 53 years of faithful and successful pastoral ministry, Bishop Nelson officially retired in 2019. She passed the mantle of leadership to Pastor Jamie House, who was entrusted as the new lead pastor. Under Pastor House’s leadership, Bibleway Healing Assembly has evolved into The Way Church, continuing its mission to transform lives through faith, healing, and deliverance.

Expanding the vision...

What began as a house of healing is becoming a movement of wholeness — restoring people in spirit, soul, and body so they can live, love, and lead like Jesus. Now we’re building disciples locally and globally who carry the message of faith, healing, and hope wherever they go. Our faith has found new expression — not only in what we believe but in how we build people, families, and communities that live out the Kingdom.

Where we are headed...

We’re not just preserving a legacy; we’re propelling it forward. What started as a vision from one woman is becoming a generational mandate. This next chapter isn’t about maintaining what was; it’s about multiplying what can be. The same anointing that once filled a storefront now flows through a community of disciples, leaders, creatives, families, and entrepreneurs who are taking the message of healing, hope, and transformation into their homes, cities, and the world.

The legacy lives on — not as a memory of what God did, but as a movement of what God is still doing. We are the generation called to take that same faith beyond the walls, beyond the past, and into the future — to see lives transformed, purpose awakened, and the Kingdom advanced.
