Do It Anyway!

When God calls you to build something, opposition is not a sign that you are off track. It may actually be a sign that you are right on schedule. The story of Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem's wall reveals that resistance often shows up precisely because restoration is happening. The enemy could not stop the work, so he went after the workers, using doubt, discouragement, and targeted questions designed to make them quit. Nehemiah's response was not debate or defense. He prayed, and then he picked the brick back up. Maturity is not a life without criticism. It is the ability to keep building while people are still talking. Whatever God has called you to do, build it anyway.
