The Way Church, led by Pastor Jamie House, is a diverse multi-generational church based in Henrietta, NY. Founded over 50 years ago, Bibleway Healing Assembly, now know as The Way, has been a pillar in the Rochester community for many years.

MEET OUR PASTOR

Pastor Jamie House, born and raised in Rochester, NY, embodies a lifetime of dedication to ministry.

Beginning at 13 volunteering as a Jr. Audio personnel, and later serving full-time in various roles. With over 28 years of dedicated service, he serves as Lead Pastor of The Way Church, succeeding his trailblazing grandmother, Bishop Eulah M. Nelson.

Pastor Jamie studied at World Harvest Bible College and Aenon Bible College. A celebrated #1 best-selling author, dynamic speaker, success strategist, and multi-certified coach, Jamie is committed to empowering others. His mission is to inspire lasting impact through faith and the transformative teachings of God's word.

Practical Bible Teaching

We believe that the bible is powerful and enough to change your life – it is the inspired word of God! Every week at The Way you’ll hear from our Lead Pastor who is passionate about communicating the timeless message of Jesus in a relevant and practical way.

We are passionate about presence driven worship that builds our faith! Presence-driven worship is one of the ways we experience God personally. You will love it.

Engaging Kids Programs

Here in our world-class facilities, your kids will have the time of their life learning about Jesus. NEXT GEN Kids host from age 4 to 5th grade and our amazing, dedicated, and passionate volunteers are going to take this new space to the next level. They’re going to provide fun and engaging activities that are age-appropriate so they can learn how to pray, how to worship, and engage in Jesus in a new and relevant way for them.

Got Questions?

What happens when I visit for the first time?

You’ll be greeted with smiling and friendly faces from the moment you drive onto the parking lot until you find your seat. Our Welcome Ambassador Team is here to help you with anything you might need while you’re with us.

While we honor all our first time guest we'll never embarrassed or single you out during any of our services. No one will call you out or ask you to stand, we won’t make you hug 5 people you’ve never met before, you can just be comfortable and enjoy being at church!

Stop by our Connections Area after the service– they will have a free gift for you as a first time guest!

Is there a dress code?

No. Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you. You can "dress up" if you want, or wear casual clothes. We believe God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

How long is the service?

Services last about one hour and 30 minutes. We start by singing a few songs, then one of our pastors, usually our Lead Pastor Jamie House, will deliver a message. If you want a preview of the type of messages we hear on an average Sunday, check out our current series.
